After appearing in television roles throughout the 1990s and 2000s like "Saved by the Bell" or "Charmed", he became known for playing Dr. Mark Sloan on the series Grey's Anatomy.
Recently he has branched into film, co-starring in Marley & Me 2008 and Valentine's Day2010.
